Together with the Council of Tiferet Raphael & Chizuk Hatorah Rabbis in Israel, and in conjunction with the Chizuk Hatorah organization in New York and Israel, the P'eylim Lev L'achim provided several truckloads of food to families all over in Israel With help from Rabbi Miara, Rabbi Nathan Shafer and Rabbi Polanski, and many other Shuls and individuals who made additional financial contributions, the National Council P'eylim Lev L’achim need several truckloads of food for Pesah . The food will be delivered to over 90000 families in Safad, as well as to many other Jerusalem families, Ashkelon, and various other cities. The P'eylim Lev L'achim also organized a food distribution campaign for Pesach 2010. Several months prior to Pesach, after having funds to buy food for the families of Israel for Yom Tov, the P'eylim Lev L'achim and Chizuk Hatorah arranged to have 18 truckloads carrying more than 125 tons of food to be delivered to the city of Sfad ,Tiberias,Haifa,Jerusalem,, and another truckload for delivered to Tel Aviv areas. More than 20000 families in need benefited from the Campaign Shalosh Regalim on Pesach. As they had done for the Succot campaign, the Chizuk HaTorah Brooklyn took a leading role once again and helped ensure the success of the Pesach food distribution campaign. The food distribution campaign was replicated again for the holiday of Shavuot, when two truckloads carrying 50,000 containers of dairy products FOR delivered to the families. With Pesah, Succot 2010 virtually upon us, the National Council of P’eylim Lev L'achim is again collecting funds to purchase food for the families of tiberias, Sfad, Jerusalem, Betar elith, for yom Tov. Chizuk Hatorah executive vice president Rabbi Polansky urged people to participate in the Shalosh Regalim Campaign so that families, who otherwise would not be able to bring the joy of yom tov into their home, will be provided with the opportunity to do so. Shuls and individuals are encouraged to help, become a sponsor of one family or many families at $110- dollars $500- dollars $750 dollars for Yom tov Purim, Pesah, The holiday.
